Chinenye originally from Nigeria now calls Winnipeg home. 

Recently releasing her EP, Love's Embrace, she hopes that it brings encouragement to those who might need it. 

"'Fight for Me,' came from a place where I was waiting on The Lord and He gave me this verse. It's in the book of Psalms. If God can calm the raging seas, He also calms the storms in me. Chinenye's music career started just six years ago and it has been an interesting journey for her. 

"My music started about six years ago, and prior to that, I had no experience doing music whatsoever. I just felt The Holy Spirit nudging me to sing. To sing about what I had experienced, to sing about the love of Christ."

Taking that leap has been in faith, but joining the church choir and learning music there has been a great opportunity to mix her love for Jesus with the talent and passion for music.
