A new stamp series has been released by Canada Post and it features a photo from Manitoba.
The new stamps, part of a multi-year series called From Far and Wide, will feature nine new images of must-see Canadian destinations, all shot by a different photographer across Canada.
This year, sunflowers from Altona, Manitoba, are featured on one of the stamps. Some of the other locations featured include Tongait KakKasuangita SilakKijapvinga – Torngat Mountains National Park, Newfoundland and Labrador, Galiano Island, British Columbia, Point Prim Lighthouse – Belfast, Prince Edward Island and Thousand Islands, Ontario.
The From Far and Wide series is the most common postage used for everyday mailing, reaching households Canada-wide. They can be purchased at any post office across Canada.
