A serious collision shut down a busy section of St. Mary's Road Saturday morning.
At around 2 a.m., the Winnipeg Police Service posted on social media asking motorists to avoid the area.
Soutbound St. Mary's at Chesterfield closed due to MVC. Will advise when intersection reopens.

A red SUV could be seen with damage to its front end and a pair of shoes in the middle of the road.
Southbound St. Mary's Road was closed at Chesterfield for several hours while police investigated. It has since be reopened.
