Jordan St.Cyr is excited for the new year and opportunities ahead, including releasing a music video for his hit single 'Fires'.

"2020, while it was super strange on the live music front, that whole thing just went away, we made strides in other areas."

As a Christian artist, St.Cyr took home a few awards as a singer/songwriter last year.

"We went to radio in the US really not knowing if we were going to be successful or not. I went in without any label support and the timing was right."

Although he started off without a label, the risk paid off as St.Cyr signed with BEC recordings in November of 2020.

"I feel like God kind of lines things up for us to impact people in a greater way," says St.Cyr.

After signing, St.Cyr's single 'Fires' started to light up the charts in the USA as well, gaining him more recognition.

"While charts aren't the point and awards aren't the point, it just means that you're doing something and you're on the right path if you're hearts in the right place and you want to impact people. I would love to be able to do this and support my family."

St.Cyr will be releasing a new single on February 19, 2021, with a new EP in early March and then a full album in May.

"We've had a lot of these songs just sitting there waiting to be released but with the pandemic, we can't support them with live music so we've been holding on to them."

St.Cyr says he is thrilled to get the songs out to the public soon. Within a few days, he will have a brand new music video for 'Fires'.

2020. You tested us. Our character, our love for God, and our love for each other. I really hope we are on the other...

"The team that worked on it is just brilliant. I think it's going to create another level of impact. People are going to see the fires of different individuals, things that they walked through and how God has been faithful in their lives."

St.Cyr has walked through a few of his own fires as his youngest daughter was born with a rare condition called Sturge Weber Syndrome.

"God's faithfulness in our lives helps us to stand, to breathe, it helps us to live our best life," he says.

The video for his hit single will be available on January 26, 2021.
