The 2023 GMA Dove Awards released their list of nominees today.

Top nominations include Brandon Lake with eleven nominations, which includes Artist of the Year, while Kirk Franklin and Jason Ingram both received six.

Lauren Daigle received three nominations, including for Artist of the Year, Pop/Contemporary Recorded Song of the Year (“Thank God I Do”) and Short Form Video of the Year (“'Thank God I Do').  Katy Nichole gatherd four nominations, including for New Artist of the Year, Song of the Year (“In Jesus Name (God of Possible)”), Pop/Contemporary Album of the Year (Jesus Changed My Life) and Pop/Contemporary Recorded Song (“God Is In This Story”).

Meanwhile, GRAMMY® Award-winning group Elevation Worship received multiple nominations including "Song of the Year" for their Billboard No. 1 song 'Same God' and "Worship Album of the Year" for LION: Live From the Loft.

In addition to the group's nominations, Chris Brown was also nominated in the "Songwriter of the Year - Artist" category and songwriting recognition for "Same God" (Song of the Year), "Graves" (Rap/Hip Hop Recorded Song of the Year), and "Jireh (My Provider)" (Rap/Hip Hop Recorded Song of the Year).

Steven Furtick was nominated also as a songwriter on "Same God," (Song of the Year), "Graves" (Rap/Hip Hop Recorded Song of the Year), "Jireh (My Provider)" (Rap/Hip Hop Recorded Song of the Year), and Phil Wickham's "This Is Our God" for "Worship Recorded Song of the Year."

Both Brown and Furtick received producer nominations for LION: Live From the Loft (Worship Album of the Year). 

The GMA Dove Awards Nashville event will be held October 17th, 2023.
