While Friday might be off to a cold start, it's the last day of cold wind chills to get through before a mild weekend.

Wind chills of -33 are expected for Winnipeg Friday morning, but a high of -7 in the afternoon will help get rid of the chill. Overnight temperatures will stay at -7, making way for a warm weekend.

Temperatures of +2 are expected for both Saturday and Sunday, making for yet another above normal weekend in Winnipeg. It will be another great chance to be outdoors this weekend.

The warm weather will stick around heading into next week, too, with a high of +3 expected for Monday.

It won't last long, however. Normal daytime highs of -8 are expected by midweek, and lows around -19 coming with them.
