A new vaccination super site is opening Monday.
The latest round of COVID-19 vaccinations is expanding to include the entirety of one population.
People 65-year-old or older, and First Nation people 45 or older can now book their first COVID-19 vaccination appointment. Winnipeg and Morden's supersites are open, as well as various pop-up clinics, are vaccinating people.
Medical clinics and pharmacies are giving the vaccine to eligible priority groups.
Pop-up vaccination sites will be open in various communities between March 29 and April 1 including:
- Steinbach
- Victoria Beach
- Portage la Prairie
- Arborg
- Lundar
- Russell
- Riverton
- Lac du Bonnet
- Killarney
- Morris
- Stonewall
Those set to book an appointment can call 1-844-626-8222 (1-844-MAN-VACC) or use the province's new website.
Officials says 91,687 first doses and 44,642 second doses have been given so far, not including a slight data entry delay from some medical clinics and pharmacies.
