Amy Grant has postponed concerts and is now recovering at home following an accident while biking.

Late last week, Amy's team took to her social media to let fans know of the incident. The post says that Grant was riding a bike with a friend when she hit a pothole.

"Following a brief hospitalization where she was treated for her injuries, doctors have ordered additional recovery time at home for Amy, where she is now resting comfortably."

The team says the 22-time Dove Award winner was wearing a helmet when the incident happened. However, they say the doctor's orders means she has to reschedule concerts that were upcoming in August. They say that no other changes to her concert schedule have taken place.

Thousands of fans have reacted to the post, giving thanks that her injuries were not more serious, and sending messages of support and prayers.

Grant was recently awarded the 45th Kennedy Center Honors for her accomplishments in music. Besides the dozens of GMA Dove Awards, Grant also has six Grammy wins and has sold more than 30 million units worldwide.

The "Queen of Christian Pop" also became a grandmother at the beginning of this year.
