The Winnipeg Art Gallery has filled two major positions.

Andrew Kear has been appointed chief curator and Radovan Radulovic has been appointed head of museum services, effective April 1st.

The WAG says Kear will retain his position as curator of Canadian art, while Radulovic will be giving up his role as head of conservation.

The chief curator oversees exhibition selection and planning, the Clara Lander Library and Archives, and the permanent collection. The head of museum services manages artwork conservation, exhibition prep-work, maintenance, and the vaults.

The positions have been vacant for about three weeks. They were both being covered by Seema Hollenberg as head of curatorial; she left in early March, after two years at the WAG, and is now at the Manitoba Museum.
