Being on tour is not stopping Christian artist Jordan St. Cyr from seeing his daughter who was rushed to the hospital this weekend.

"It does a daddy’s heart good to be at his girl’s side," says Jordan St. Cyr on his Instagram.

St. Cyr is currently on the I Still Believe Tour with Jeremy Camp, alongside Riley Clemmons. However, he was able to fly back to his new home near Nashville to see his youngest Emery after she had a series of seizures on the weekend. He joined his wife Heather and Emery at Vanderbilt Medical in Nashville on Monday.

"We’re waiting for Em to be cleared of seizure activity before we can head home. Hopefully tonight or tomorrow."

St. Cyr and his wife have four children. Their youngest is three-year-old Emery who has a rare condition called Sturge Weber Syndrome. This can bring on seizures as the port-wine stain on her face pulls blood from the back of her brain. With medication, the seizures can often be subdued.

"The body of Christ is truly a gift," says St. Cyr. "Your prayers have strengthened us and remind us we’re not in this alone. We are indebted to you all for the grace and love you’ve poured out on our family."

Hundreds of people shared their prayers and concern for Emery on Saturday after St. Cyr shared the news with people on social media.
