Building 429 guitarist Jason Roy is beyond proud of his daughter, Haven Madison, who advanced to the top 12 in American Idol Monday evening.

Katy Perry and Lionel Ritchie agreed that Haven has stardust, and America agreed, voting her into the top 12.

The 17-year-old performed her original single '15' in front of a live audience and judges Lionel Richie, Katy Perry, and Luke Bryan.

"15-year-old Haven in school wanted it now, then 16-year-old Haven auditioning for American Idol wanted it now. And I'm 17, and by the grace of God, I'm going to go get it now," said Madison after her performance.

Madison received a standing ovation, with her father, Jason, rising to his feet before the rest of the crowd.

"I MADE American Idol's #TOP12 BABY!" Haven wrote on Facebook. "This Idol gig is the experience of a lifetime, but I know I wouldn't be here without all of you voting me through."

Haven will perform again on Sunday, April 30.
