At roughly 4:00 am on Monday, a car hoped the curb and went right into the Canadian Goodwill store on Pembina highway.

The car lodged intself mostly into the building, with the tail end sticking out.

No one was hurt inside the building and the driver was taken to hospital in stable condition.

The same store one year earlier, in March 2019, had a vehicle crash into it. However, back then the vehicle and store caught on fire and it took 10 months for the Goodwill to reopen.

A staff at the store says "It was a very disheartening Monday. We are hoping to reopen very soon and we'll announce it on our social media as soon as it is safe to open again."

By Tuesday afternoon the store had boards up where the car hit the building, and they are hoping to reopen as soon as possible.
