A few Christian artists have taken the time on their albums to dedicate an entire song to their moms.
For King and Country is made up of brothers Joel and Luke Smallbone. On their latest album What Are We Waiting For? their song 'Unsung Hero' is an ode to their mother.
"It’s hard to overstate the important role Mum’s play in our lives… as we approach this Mother’s Day weekend, we’re more mindful and grateful than ever to express our appreciation for all they do," says For King and Country on Facebook. "To all the mum’s out there, in all senses of the word- we sing this song for you!"
Another chart-topping artist relatively new to the CCM scene is Anne Wilson.
On her brand new album My Jesus she has a song dedicated to moms, called 'Mamas,' featuring Hillary Scott of Lady A.
"I hope it impacts you this week as we head towards Mother's Day," says Wilson on Facebook.
"I know why God made Mamas, cuz He knew I needed you," says Wilson.
