The Manitoba Filipino Street Festival returns for its 11th year on June 18 and 19 at the Maples Multiplex & Grounds.

Since the COVID-19 pandemic reduced the scale of the event last year, now it is back in full swing with a whole lineup of fun events.

The festival will include the opportunity to meet with Winnipeg's sports team mascots, cultural dance presentations, a pageant, food and more non-stop entertainment. Unfortunately, there will be no parade this year.

Normally the event hosts many festivities from the different regions of the Philippines, but this year there will also be non-Filipino organizations that will participate in the festival.

It is a free event for all families of all cultures to enjoy beginning at noon tomorrow and ending at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday.
