The CHVN family stepped up in a huge way just before Christmas to help the work of Adult and Teen Challenge of Central Canada.

The annual Be Part Of A Story Radiothon took place from December 6 through 8. Over the course of the three days dozens of testimonies were shared recounting how people were impacted by ATC's work.

Many of the testimonies came from students and graduates of the program. All of them shared a common theme: people that once believed they were a lost cause now living a life filled with joy and hope thanks to the work of ATC and the healing power of Jesus.

Family members also shared their stories, some of whom didn't have the answer to their prayers yet. But thanks to ATC's Ready Now Recovery and Concerned Persons groups they had the tools as parents or loved ones of addicts to set boundaries and help without enabling.

Powerful stories of miracles were told, lots of laughter was shared, and more than a few tears were shed.

By 6 p.m. on the final day the total sat at $226,393!

That shattered what seemed to be an impossible goal of $200,000 ... especially considering we started the final day well under $100,000. But, as many of us know, with God all things are possible.

Special thanks to Kinsmen Winnipeg, Terracon Development, and some other anonymous donors, who donated a total of $100,000 in matching funds.

Your generosity ensures that not only does the important work at ATC continue, but that it can expand to put hope within reach of every person impacted by life-controlling addictions.

Thank you to each and every one of you that listened, prayed, and donated!
