As people get ready to head out of town on the weekend, the new Terry Fox Day hours are somewhat different than usual.  Here are the closures affecting Winnipegers on Monday.

 

Most Shopping Centres are open from 11am to 6pm on Monday

City of Winnipeg Civic Offices
Closed on Monday, August 4

Recycling, garbage and yard waste will be collected as normally scheduled for those with Monday as a collection day.

Canada Post
Post offices will be closed Monday, August 4.  Offices are also closed on Saturday and Sunday, as per usual.

Winnipeg Transit
Winnipeg Transit will be operating on a Sunday schedule for Monday, August 4.

Leisure Centres
Leisure Centres will be closed Monday, August 4.
Regular hours are in effect for Leisure Centres on August 2 and August 3.

Swimming Pools
All City of Winnipeg indoor swimming pools will be closed on Monday, August 4.
All City of Winnipeg outdoor pools will be open Monday, August 4. Operating hours vary by pool.

Weather permitting, wading pools and spray pads will also be open on Monday, August 4.
Spray pad operating hours have been extended to 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Libraries
All Winnipeg Public Libraries will be closed on Monday, August 4.

Animal Services Agency
Hours of operation for the Animal Services Agency during the August long weekend are as follows:
Friday, August 1 — 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Saturday, August 2 — 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Sunday, August 3 — 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Monday, August 4 — Closed

Winnipeg Parking Authority
Friday, August 1 — 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Saturday, August 2 — Closed
Sunday, August 3 — Closed
Monday, August 4 — Closed

Golf Courses
Crescent Drive, Harbour View, John Blumberg, Kildonan Park and Windsor Park Golf Courses will be open on Monday, August 4.
