Manitoba's favourite film festival is back for another year, with entertaining movies for the entire family.

The 7th annual Winnipeg Film Festival kicks off on Tuesday, February 21 at North Kildonan Mennonite Church.

With nearly 40 movies this year the festival's coordinator, Paul Boge, says it really is a family event. "There's everything: movies for kids, movies for teens, movies for couples, movies for seniors. There's something for everybody."

Not only does the festival provide a chance at affordable, and clean, entertainment, but movie-goers find something else, Boge says. "What we find is people love community. There are talkbacks at the end of every film, and so people love to come, and even if they don't want to talk, they love to listen to the discussion and insights of others."

This year has 38 films, including major full feature films such as The Peanuts Movie, and Star Wars VII, as well as independent short films, and documentaries. Find a full schedule at www.winnipegfilmfestival.com
