Dolly Parton’s Mountain Magic Christmas debuted at the beginning of the month, along with many of Parton's friends, proclaiming Christ's birth.

The show featured many well-known names including Jimmy Fallon, Willie Nelson, Billy Ray Cyrus, Jimmie Allen and Miley Cyrus. Christian artist Zach William's also had a guest role.

The two have partnered up before to release William's award-winning song with Parton's harmonizing melodies for 'There was Jesus,' which they sang during the show. 

"When you think of that song, you don’t really think of it being a Christmas song, but the message in it and what we celebrate at Christmas is definitely Jesus," Williams shared during an interview. "For me, it’s kind of been the gift that keeps on giving."

During the show, Parton shouts, "Jesus Christ is born!" and the crowd responded, "Hallelujah! He is born!" showing the long-time singer is not afraid to share her Christian faith. 

Dolly Parton’s Mountain Magic Christmas was filmed at her real-life theme park, Dollywood, in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, depicitng a fictional story with songs interspersed throughout. 

"Everybody in the world is trying to get a piece of her attention, but somehow she manages to make whoever she’s talking to feel like they’re the most important person in the room," says Williams.
