A man is facing over a dozen charges after what RCMP say was "an exhaustive investigation" into a fatal collision last year on a Manitoba road.

On August 16, 2019, RCMP responded to a collision at the intersection of Provincial Road 362 and Road 147 North, approximately 3 kilometres north of Dauphin. The initial investigation determined that a Ford F-150 was travelling east on Road 147 when it went through the intersection at PR 362 and hit the side of a northbound Dodge Ram.

Two girls, ages four and six, travelling in the Dodge Ram died in hospital as a result of their injuries sustained in the crash. Police also say that two women travelling in the same vehicle of the girls suffered serious injuries.
