Festival du Voyageur

Western Canada's biggest winter festival continues this weekend despite the warm weather. There are plenty of activities for the entire family, including children's entertainers, arts and crafts, snowshoe treks and more. Plus, don't leave without getting some maple taffy on snow! The highly recommended Quick Carve Wood Carving Challenge takes place at Voyageur Park from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 25.

Winnipeg Real to Reel Film Festival

Winnipeg's cool, clean, and compelling film festival is back, with movies being shown at North Kildonan MB Church until Sunday. Catch films like 90 Minutes in Heaven or God's Not Dead 2, or more mainstream fun movies like The Peanuts Movie and Star Wars: The Force Awakens. It's International Polar Bear Day, and the Assiniboine Park Zoo is throwing a party. Join them for Breakfast with the Bears, where you can enjoy breakfast at the Tundra Grill while overlooking the Zoo's largest polar habitat.
