This is the weekend for farmers markets. Whether you're staying in the city or heading out, there are options here for you.
May 20
- Red River Exhibition Park, Winnipeg - The Winnipeg Night Market opens at 5:00 p.m. and closes at midnight. There is a $5 entry fee for adults. 12 and under are free. Parking is free.
- St. Norbert, Winnipeg - An outdoor Farmers’ Market with 110 local farms and artisans. 8 am to 3 pm. There will also be fiddling music to celebrate World Fiddle Day. Parking is usually $2.
- Recreation Centre, Winnipeg Beach - Peruse crafts and other items at the Winnipeg Beach Recreation Centre’s local market from 9 am to 3 pm. Includes a pancake breakfast.
- Recreation Centre, Onanole - Shop regional and local goods, arts, farm produce and bakes goods as a part of the At The Farm Gate spring market. 10 am to 3 pm.
- District Museum, Lac du Bonnet - Visit the museum open house as well as the Lac du Bonnet Farmers’ Market. The market is from 10 am to 1 pm.
May 20 and 21
- BlacKnot Farm, St. Andrews - feel free to attend the On The Way To The Lake: Artisans Fair from 10 am to 4 pm each day.
