Firefighters in Winnipeg are keeping busy as they investigate another structure fire.

Early this morning, crews were called to a West End home after 6 a.m. At 6:08 a.m., crews discovered smoke escaping from the three-storey home in the 400 block of Maryland Street.

After searching and discovering no one was inside the home, crews began fighting the fire offensively, declining it under control almost one hour later at 6:51 a.m.

No injuries are being reported from the fire and the cause of the fire is under investigation.

United Firefighters of Winnipeg, Local 867, says that this structure fire is the fourth in seven days.
