Food recall widened over fears of E. coli

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency's (CFIA) investigation into tainted flour has caused them to widen an earlier recall.

They are warning Canadians that a number of popular flours could be tainted with E. coli.

Originally the CFIA issued a recall for Robin Hood Flour. After a CFIA investigation, that has now been updated to include additional product information. This additional information was identified during the Canadian Food Inspection Agency's (CFIA) food safety investigation into a food-borne illness outbreak, according to a release.

Ardent Mills is recalling various brands of flour and flour products due to possible E. coli O121 contamination. Consumers should not consume the recalled products described below, with specific best before dates indicated under additional information.
