Bo Rinehart has been away from the spotlight for three years after leaving NEEDTOBREATHE and now he's releasing music on his own.

The single 'I'm Right Here' will be released Friday, September 9 under the name Coy Roy.

"Coy Roy is an embodiment of artistic freedom and an expression of world eclectic rhythms that hope to connect us all through the emotion of music," says Rinehart according to New Release Today

Rinehart, brother of lead singer Bear, co-founded the Christian rock band, NEEDTOBREATHE. After roughly 20 years of writing and performing music together, Rinehart left the band in 2020.

Since then, he has taken time to heal from a traumatic past that includes sexual abuse as a child. According to new sources, Rinehart joined a local organization that helps victims of past and present abuse, called Davis House based out of Franklin, TN.

"Listeners may be surprised by the distinctive sound of the new album," he says, "It is not designed to fit an established genre but rather to create new opportunities to convey deeper meanings of my story."
