The government of Manitoba has announced a fourth case of the illness.

A man in his 40's was diagnosed with a presumptive case. It is believed he contracted it while travelling to South Korea, the Philippines or Japan.

The man is a Winnipeg resident.

The province is also stated that there is one confirmed case of COVID-19 in Manitoba and a total of three presumptive cases.

Residents are being reminded to avoid non-essential travel and to practice social distancing.
