Outspoken Christian Reggie Begelton praised God in his announcement on Monday afternoon.

The former Calgary Stampeder opened his tweet announcing his move to the Greenbay Packers by saying "all the Glory to God." Begelton will be on the Green Bay Packer's practice roster at the start of next year's NFL season.

Begelton is just one of many CFL players who have been released to pursue NFL prospects this year. The Winnipeg Blue Bombers are releasing players Marcus Sayles and Winston Rose to allow them to pursue the American league.

CFL All-Star Begelton is very open about his faith. The Texas-born wide-receiver has been known to share his praise for God openly on social media.

"When I say “God is good”, I seriously mean “all of the time,” Begelton says in an earlier tweet.

Begelton has been openly Christian his whole life. His first football team was the Salvation Army Mighty Mites in his hometown of Beaumont, Texas, and he attended a private Christian University, Abilene Christian, in his first year of post-secondary.
