The Winnipeg Blue Bombers and the City of Winnipeg will host a Grey Cup championship parade Tuesday, November 26 from noon to 3:00 p.m.

The parade will begin at Hargrave and Portage Avenue heading eastbound on Portage Avenue and culminating at The Forks. 

The parade will feature players, coaches and staff, Winnipeg Blue Bombers President & CEO, Wade Miller, Premier Brian Pallister, Mayor Brian Bowman, the Cheer & Dance Team, Buzz and Boomer, the Blue Bombers Drum Band, and Dancing Gabe.

Speeches will begin at The Forks following a RCAF fly-past at 1:30 p.m.

“On behalf of all Manitobans and all Bomber fans everywhere, I thank all the players and the management and staff of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers for ending the 29-year drought and starting a new series of Grey Cup championships, congratulations!” Premier Brian Pallister says.

“Congratulations to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers on a historic playoff run and for providing Winnipeg with the Championship win. Winnipeg is bursting with excitement and we’re grateful to Wade Miller and the entire Winnipeg Football Club for finally ending the Grey Cup drought!” Mayor Brian Bowman says.

Road closures & route info:

Temporary road closures will begin in the Downtown area at approximately 11 a.m. to accommodate the parade; reroutes will be in effect.

Of note, Hargrave Street will be closed from 11 a.m. to noon, and Portage Avenue will be completely closed from 11:30 a.m. to approximately 12:15 p.m.

The roads will reopen after the procession moves along the route.

Temporary parking restrictions will be in place. Pedestrian and emergency vehicle access will be maintained.
