This is the 48th edition of Festival du Voyageur and it runs from February 17-26.

Admission

10 day pass

  • Adults (18 and over) - $34
  • Youth (5 to 17) - $13
  • 4 and under - FREE

1-day pass

  • Adults (18 and over) - $20
  • Youth (5 to 17) - $10
  • 4 and under - FREE

Single day Family package (2 adults, 2 youth) - $95

10 day Family package (2 adults, 2 youth) - $125

You can purchase your passes at Safeway & Sobeys stores, at Voyageur park, the Festival du Voyageur office at 233 Provencher Blvd, or by calling 204-233-ALLO.

February 21-22 - CLOSED (official sites open)

February 23 - 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. (Petit Canada)

February 24 - 5:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.

February 25 - 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m.

February 26 - 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Parking and Shuttle

The shuttle is completely free and you can take advantage of it every day the park is open.

Shuttle Pickup Locations

  • Centre LaVérendrye (614 Des Meurons Street)
  • Université de Saint-Boniface (200 de la Cathédrale Avenue)
  • Voyageur Park (St-Joseph Street at Hébert Street)

The shuttle runs from half an hour before Voyageur Park opens and the final pickup runs until the park closes.

Priority Parking (Voyageur Park): $5

Additional Free Parking (no shuttle): Caisse Financial Group (205 Provencher Blvd)

Popular Activities

There are plenty of activities for everyone to take part in, from young to old.

Kids: winter playground with slides, historic voyageur adventures, hills to climb, instruments, interactive games, arts and crafts, sleigh rides and lots of shows

Family: Snowshoeing, Mascot Challenge, Red River Skirmish, interpreters at Fort Gibraltar

There are also heated tents with a variety of programming at Voyageur Park, along with French Canadian food, lunch and dinner, plus snow and wood sculptures.

And of course, maple taffy on snow.
