A child safety seat has been recalled in Canada because it could increase the risk of injury in the event of a collision.

Health Canada says Rojada child safety seats do not display Transport Canada's National Safety Mark and, therefore, have not been certified to meet the safety requirements of the Motor Vehicle Restraint Systems and Booster Seats Safety Regulations.

Amazon.ca has removed the product from sale online. Amazon reported that 99 safety seats were sold in Canada.

No injuries related to this product have been reported to Health Canada.

Anyone with this child safety seat is encouraged to immediately stop using it and safely dispose of it in a way it cannot be used again.
