Highway 1 closed at 13 due to collision

The Manitoba RCMP says that traffic on the Trans-Canada highway near Oakville, Man., will be experiencing delays Wednesday morning.

Witnesses say an SUV and armoured vehicle appear to have been involved in the collision. The armoured vehicle is on its side.

The eastbound lanes of Highway 1 have been closed at the junction of Highway 13. There is just one westbound lane open currently.

Emergency crews are on scene and police are directing traffic and a detour has been set up.

There is no word on injuries at this time.
