The RCMP is investigating the report of stolen historical pieces from the Trembowla Cross of Freedom Museum and Church in rural Manitoba.

Manitoba RCMP says in a media release that on June 12, at approximately 9 a.m. Dauphin RCMP received a call from the director of the museum and church called about the missing relics from the site, located 20 kilometres northwest of the city.

It was reported that between May 29 and June 12, the small bell tower was knocked over with the bell stolen. The item was made of bronze and can be dated back to the 1890s. There were also seven bronze memorial plaques outside of the church that were also stolen.
