Dick Van Dyke, 95 years old, is showing his L.A. community that kindness and generosity can change a life no matter who you are.

Dyke, known best for his role in Mary Poppins in 1964 and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, is showing the community in Malibu his true character.

Last week, the actor showed up at Los Angeles’ Malibu Community Labor Exchange—and began handing out cash to job seekers waiting in line outside the non-profit, according to a Twitter post.

Dyke made a living by having fun in his dancing and singing roles in movies. However, at 93, a fan caught him dancing in a department store, showing fans he carries the joy with him off-screen as well.

Reports have said he's spent over 20 years volunteering at LA shelter The Midnight Mission, proving a true class act.
