For many this week will be the start of something new and challenging.

Numerous families have already started working from home due to the COVID-19 pandemic and starting this week their children will join them as daycares and schools across Canada close.

This means many parents will now take on the role of being their child's teacher, something that not everyone is prepared to do.

Gerald Huebner and Diane Kroeker are experts when it comes to homeschooling. Gerald is involved with the Manitoba Association of Christian Home Schools. He is also the chairman of the board of the Home School Legal Defence Association of Canada and is involved with the Global Home Education Council.

Diane Kroeker is a homeschool mom of four children. She was also homeschooled when she was a child.

They'll give us tips and advice on how to make the transition into becoming a home school teacher and how we can make sure our children remain well educated throughout this global pandemic.
