Canada Day at The Forks

One of the most popular Canada Day festivals is the one that takes place at The Forks every year. For the 150th birthday, The Forks is taking it to another level with bands on stage from 12:00 p.m. all the way til 11:00 p.m., when an incredible pyrotechnics show with fireworks will happen as the final celebration.

The Children's Museum, Canadian Museum for Human Rights, and pick up ball hockey are all different activities to participate in as you wait for the light show at the end of the day.

Canada Day at Assiniboine Park

Have a picnic this Saturday at Assiniboine Park as the Canad Inns Family Fun Day celebrates Canada's birthday. Live entertainment will be on site from 1:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., with a kidzone from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and even FREE birthday cake at 3:30 p.m. Stick around for the firework show at 10:40 p.m.

Canada 150 at St. Norbert Farmers' Market

You already love the farmers' market. On Saturday, it will be even better, with bouncy castles and free face painting for kids from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Sheep shearing is on the itenary, starting at 9:30 a.m.. Finally, stick around for fireworks at dusk.

Plus, you know, buy some great items at the St. Norbert Farmers' Market.

Osborne Village Street Festival

The longest running street festival is back this Canada Day. Head to Osborne Village to celebrate Canada Day this year. The perfect location, since you can just walk over to the bridge and catch the fireworks at The Forks.

Winnipeg Living Leaf

Join this year's 'living leaf'. The event starts at 8:00 a.m. and will take place at Portage and Main. Wear a red shirt, plus the first 2,500 guests will get an official Canada Day Living Maple Leaf shirt.

City-wide fireworks

Have your own Canada Day plans, but want to watch fireworks? That shouldn't be hard, since Winnipeg will be full of fireworks come Saturday. You can watch the light show at:
