One of two fuel lines that were shut down at the Imperial Oil pipeline repair site south of St. Adolphe in March over integrity concerns, has been partially restored

The repair has helped to restore a partial flow of fuel through the pipeline which will significantly reduce the amount of fuel that has to be alternatively delivered by rail and truck.

Repairs to the second line remain on schedule and construction is expected to be completed by mid-June.

Supplies of gasoline, diesel and aviation remain stable at this time.

The Manitoba government will continue monitoring the pipeline repair to ensure it is completed safely and environmentally responsible.
