When Travis and Adelle Graham met, it was love at first sight, and within a year, they were married.

They enjoyed the honeymoon phase of their marriage before things quickly took a nosedive.

Travis Graham felt like his life was in shambles. During his years of military and police service, he injured his back multiple times. As a result, he was diagnosed with spinal stenosis, bulging disc, degenerative disc disease and degenerative arthritis. He could not walk without pain and ended up fighting an addiction to pain pills and alcohol. In addition, he was dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) from a trauma he had experienced on duty as a police officer of 15 years and also struggling with a pornography addiction.

"Our marriage suffered the entire time through that while we both of us were putting on a facade of everything is fine, everything is perfect," Travis explained.

Adelle eventually gave Travis an ultimatum. He agreed to get help. This was when the healing began for the pair.

"Jesus rescued his heart and saved his soul," said Adelle. "This is when his transformation began."

In the fall of that year, as things began to improve in their relationship, Adelle found out Travis had been unfaithful earlier in their marriage.

"I was devastated and broken," Adelle explains.

"What I didn’t know then was that had it not been for that exact timing of it all and Travis finding Jesus, I would have walked away after all I had gone through already in our twelve years of marriage. I love that God gave me six months of a transformed man, a Jesus-loving man, to give me a glimpse of what we could have if I stayed and did the hard work to heal."

Eventually, thanks to God, Adelle was able to forgive Travis, and they were able to restore their marriage.

Travis and Adelle continue to grow their relationship and are passionate about helping other couples do the same. They lead a Seacoast Greenville small group for couples, and they are now coaching married couples & individuals to live their lives passionately through their ministry, The Noble Marriage.
