A Christian comedian who was embroiled in controversy surrounding accusations of sexual misconduct in the fall of 2019 may be getting ready for a comeback.

John Crist was in the middle of a tour when allegations surfaced on November 6 in a Charisma News story. Five women had come forward at the time alleging Crist used his fame "to harass, manipulate and exploit young women over the last seven years."

On Monday, July 13, the profile picture of Crist's Facebook fan page was updated. It's the first time there has been any activity whatsoever on Crist's media profiles since the allegations came out.

In fact, there has been no public statements from Crist other than an initial reply to Charisma.

harisma Crist said, "While I am not guilty of everything I've been accused of, I confess to being guilty of this—I have treated relationships with women far too casually, in some cases even recklessly."

In the original article, Charisma also reported that, "Multiple sources noted to Charisma that Crist has previously said he is receiving counselling and treatment for this behaviour—as early as 2014—yet continued to hurt others in the process. However, Crist has never made a public statement and apology like this before."
