After two years of delays, fans will finally have a chance to see For King & Country in concert in Winnipeg.

Monday morning fans of the band received a surprise email from the Centennial Concert Hall in Winnipeg, announcing the long awaited date for the band's arrival to the city.

The Grammy-winning band was initially set to come to Winnipeg on March 18, 2020, for the encore leg of their Burn The Ships Tour, but had to postpone numerous times due to the ongoing pandemic. The light finally seems to be at the end of the tunnel as the promoter, Unite Productions, stated that since capacity restrictions have largely lifted across the country, they feel confident in being able to finally green light the tour.

For King & Country is set to perform a sold-out show in Winnipeg on October 31, 2022.

The Centennial Concert Hall stated that they will be honouring tickets with the original date for the new show.

According to the Unite Productions the date was chosen as, "...the Canadian government still has mandates in place at the border crossings and this has caused us to set the tour for October/November. Thank you so much for understanding and for your continued patience. We can’t wait to see you this Fall!"

It remains to be seen if the band will continue with their originally intended Burn The Ships encore performance or retool the show to fit their latest album, What Are We Waiting For? Fans will agree that this has indeed been worth the wait.
