It's been an emotional few days for Jeremy Camp as he celebrates the release of his latest album, Deeper Waters. 

The 13-track album is something that he says, is a reflection of the past two decades of his life in the spotlight. 

 "So many tears were shed during the writing of this record," said Camp in a post on Facebook. "I have been praying desperately that God would minister to people in greater ways than ever before."

Camp, who recently underwent heart surgery, says he went through a spiritual growth spurt while putting this album together. 

"I have been learning so many things lately," said Camp. “Going through and expressing everything that God has unfolded over the years, including the challenges, joys and pains that have led me into such a deeper connection with him.” 

The first single off his new album, 'These Days,' is currently top 2 on Christian radio. 

Camp will keep busy this summer performing at fairs and festivals across the U.S.
