The mayor of Jerusalem is expected to make an appearance at an upcoming global day of prayer.

Over 500,000 churches and millions of viewers worldwide will participate in the Global Day of Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem this weekend.

A number of notable individuals are expected to be present for the day, including Mayor Moshe Lion of Jerusalem. Lion is expected to greet and welcome the global audience on behalf of the city of Jerusalem, reports Charisma News.

He will host 66 evangelical pastors and leaders from the US and Brazil during the event. Leaders attending the Day of Prayer will be educated on Israel and the Jewish State during their time in Jerusalem.

The influence of these leaders is expected to impact millions through broadcasting and social media networks.
