The Winnipeg Jets have dealt forwards Patrik Laine and Jack Roslovic to the Columbus Blue Jackets for forward Pierre-Luc Dubois and a third round 2022 draft pick.

Winnipeg is retaining 26 per cent of Laine’s salary.

Laine and Dubois were both chosen in the first round of the 2016 NHL draft. Laine was selected second overall by the Jets while the Blue Jackets took Dubois with the third pick.

Laine scored 138 goals in four full seasons with Winnipeg including 44 during the 2017-2018 season when the Jets reached the Western Conference final.

Dubois scored 65 goals in his three years with Columbus.

Laine had a pair of goals including the overtime winner in the Jets home opener last week against the Calgary Flames and is currently on injured reserve.

Dubois had one goal in five games this season.

Roslovic, who was chosen by the Jets in the first round (25th overall) in the 2015 draft, signed a two-year, $3.8 million contract with the Blue Jackets.
