It's an exciting time for Jordan Janzen and his family.

Late last month, Janzen announced his wife was pregnant with their third child, a blessing after experiencing infertility. Today he announced he signed a solo record deal.

"It has been a season of newness, and I am so excited to finally share the news that I have signed a RECORD DEAL with Fair Trade Services and will be releasing new music as a solo artist! 🎙️🎙️🎙️"

Fair Trade Services is home to artists like MercyMe, Phil Wickham, CeCe Winans, Skillet, and now Jordan Janzen.

"It is a bit of a full circle moment as this is how it started for me. Over the past 11 years, I’ve had the privilege of doing life and making music with The Color," said Janzen in a post on social media. "To answer the obvious question, we (The Color) will continue to go strong (literally on tour right now 🎶) and continue to tour moving forward."

Janzen says this new opportunity comes with some nerves, unknowns and a lot of excitement.

"God has opened a door, and we are stepping through it," said Jordan. "I am so thankful for the support of my wife, my family, the boys in The Color and everyone else who has been a support and source of wisdom in this process."

Jordans says we can expect to see new music in the near future.
