Two-time Grammy award winner Lauren Daigle is celebrating a Platinum certification for her song 'Rescue'.

Her sophomore album Look Up Child reached Platinum first, earlier this year.

"Thank you for your support, for loving the song, and for sharing stories. I'll tell you, anytime someone gives over a story or what the song has meant to them through a hardship, it makes me want to write more," Daigle shared on her Facebook page on December 22, 2020.

"I've gathered so many stories from that song in particular," she says.

Daigle, along with her team, shot the video for the song in Anchorage, Alaska.

"It was miserably cold and I was wearing a sleeveless dress," says Daigle.

While it turned into a breathtaking music video, Daigle's team hadn't anticipated it being that cold, as the temperature was colder on top of the glacier where they filmed than the region surrounding it.

"That's what you get with two girls from Louisianna who love the heat," she says.

Her team is putting together a film from the song and video footage that was taken during Daigle's time in Alaska. The date for this release is yet to be announced.

"I can’t help but be overwhelmed with gratitude. I’ll carry your stories with me forever," she says.
