The widow of a beloved pastor who died in a plane crash last month released a video sharing her "deep, raw, honest thoughts," encouraging people to shift their perspective as they continue to mourn his passing.

Steve Wall and three others died when their plane crashed shortly after takeoff in Chihuahua, Mexico. Wall was the pastor of Lebenswasser Church in Cuauhtémoc, Chihuahua, Mexico. He also was influential in partnering with YouVersion to produce the first-ever complete Low German audio Bible.

Debbie Wall says that there have been a lot of rumours and speculation about the cause of the plane crash. "At the end of the day the only answer is 'we don't know.'"

"Let's make the life we have here on earth worth it, so that when we go to heaven that we leave a legacy behind of impacting thousands of thousands of people for Christ."

Debbie says that while she knows God promises to give us life in abundance, and she will continue to believe that, she wants others to start asking a different question than "why did this happen?"

"Instead of asking 'why did this happen?' I would like you all to consider why we're all still here."

Despite obviously still grieving the loss of her husband, Debbie says that the way her husband lived his life and lived out his faith should serve as an example to continue moving forward.

"Instead of being at a standstill and being confused and wondering 'what next?' -- Steve lived his life, and he lived it to the fullest. He did what he was called to do and he did it with confidence. He did it in a way that inspired many of us to step up, get out of our comfort zones, and do something as well. So let's do that. Let's continue to do that."

Fighting back tears, Debbie says that if what happened could be changed she would be the first one to do so. "But I can't. So let's make the life we have here on earth worth it, so that when we go to heaven that we leave a legacy behind of impacting thousands of thousands of people for Christ."

While there may be no other person exactly like her late husband, Debbie reminds us that we are all called to use our gifts in the Kingdom of God.

"There's no other Steve Wall in this world, right? But there's so many of us -- of you guys that are gifted with so many of the same giftings, the same passions, the same talents. All you need is a bit of confidence to step forward and do that. Let's take this ground for the Kingdom."
