LISTEN: Danny Gokey making most of his 'Bucket List'

Danny Gokey is collaborating with a country artist on a single sure to inspire fans in the new year.

The Christian artist was featured on Mitchell Tenpenny's single 'Bucket List.' While the single was released by the country-pop artist in early 2021, the remixed version was released this past New Year's Eve.

"Just in time to help everyone ring in the New Year!" says Gokey on Instagram.

While Tenpenny doesn't fall under the title of Christian artist, his song is filled with his faith in God.

"I’ve been a big fan of Danny’s for a long time, his voice is so incredible," says Tenpenny to The Christian Beat. "And even though this song has been out for a while now, I felt he could bring the song to the Christian music community, and I knew no one else could do it better. He’s completely changed this song. I’m honored and grateful he would do this with me."

This is the first time the two artists have collaborated.

"‘Bucket List’ is about trying to live every day like it’s your last. You never know how long you have on this earth, so you need to try and live it to the fullest," says Tenpenny.
