The CCM band We the Kingdom is releasing their first new single off their second upcoming album in hopes of encouraging those who are down and out.

"'Miracle Power' is officially and finally out! This is our first song off our upcoming #2 album," says the band on social media on Friday, the day of the release.

It's been two years since they released their debut album, Holy Water.

"This song has been in the works for a few years now and comes from a very special place in our story as a band as a song that helped us heal during a difficult time of grieving."

The band consists of multiple generations of relatives: Andrew Bergthold, Ed Cash, Franni Rae Cash, Martin Cash, and Scott Cash. The band's name comes after the idea that "the kingdom of God is here among us."

"We love singing this song to remind our hearts of everything that God is and of the incredible gift it is to be able to call on the powerful name of Jesus whenever we need. We hope it ministers to you and helps you connect with God."

There is no official date on when the new album will be released.

"God wants us to receive His miracles, not for the miracles alone, but in order to grow deeper in the knowledge of Him and all of who He is. My hope for this song is that it fans the flames of your faith and catapults you into the loving arms of the Living God."
