You will soon be able to see the incredible story of Esther played out live on-stage.

A production of Queen Esther is in the works and will premiere worldwide on Labour Day weekend, CBN News reports.

Sight & Sound Theatres is behind the production. The entertainment company is known for bringing Bible stories to life on stage.

The story is three years in the making. Originally scheduled to debut in March, Queen Esther's release was delayed due to COVID-19.

The story of Esther's wisdom, courage, and faith will be a live performance with visual effects and live animals.

It will premiere Sept. 4 at 7:00 p.m. Eastern and include a 30-minute pre-show period, a 20-minute intermission, and behind-the-scenes interviews.

Josh Enck, chief creative officer for Sight & Sound, says the show was meant for a time of uncertainty such as this.

The performance can be viewed on the Sight & Sound TV streaming platform on Sept. 5 and 6.
