Several Manitoba Realtors gathered in Transcona Thursday to participate in a special Habitat for Humanity build.

As part of the national Realtors Care Days program, Manitoba Real Estate Association members participated in a team build day, working on Habitat for Humanity Manitoba's largest development in history.

"Gonna be sore tomorrow…but love giving back," said Rachel Moore.

The team spent the entire day helping build affordable townhouses, part of the Pandora Avenue West Project.

The development, which will see 11 blocks of five townhouses built, is situated on three acres of land in Transcona. All of the homes will be energy efficient and when completed, will have a carbon-free zero footprint.

The project is expected to be completed in 2026 and will house approximately 275 people, including 175 children.
