One man is dead following being struck by a vehicle around midnight Wednesday.
The Winnipeg Police Service is continuing the investigation. Northbound Main Street is closed from Higgins Avenue to Sutherland Avenue.
Police confirmed that a pedestrian was involved and taken to hospital. He has since succumbed to his injuries.
Police did not yet say how many vehicles were involved.
The WPS says they expect the closure will likely last into the morning rush hour while the investigation is carried out.
Northbound Main Street at Higgins Avenue will be closed due to a traffic investigation.
