A man from Winnipeg is dead following a single-vehicle collision Wednesday afternoon in the Rural Municipality of Reynolds.

At approximately 12:05 pm, Falcon Beach RCMP responded to the crash along the Trans-Canada Highway, near the Birch River bridge.

Police say the vehicle was travelling west, when it went into the ditch and rolled.

The driver, a 39-year-old male from Winnipeg was pronounced dead on scene. His passenger, a 32-year-old male from Scanterbury, was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Falcon Beach RCMP continue to investigate.
